President Donald Trump made a solid case for his reelection campaign in 2024 while speaking to Libertarians at their annual convention in Washington, D.C., classily dealing with a sometimes difficult crowd while extending his hand and reaching for a historic partnership.
Trump said, “I have come to extend the hand of friendship,” and strongly attacked the ideologies of Marxism and communism,
“We cannot give Crooked Joe Biden four more years,” he remarked.
The president found common ground with Libertarian voters, highlighting their shared beliefs in the right to bear arms, the right to private property ownership, and the right to be free from government overregulation and discrimination.
He also hit a home run with the audience when he committed to ending the “senseless” bloody wars overseas that the regime often propagates and funds without abandon.
“I was the only president in 70 years who started NO NEW WARS,” he reminded the crowd.
He also noted, “The job of the United States military is to defend America from attack and invasion here at HOME!”
In addition to his comments on war, government regulation, private property ownership, and unity, he made a modern pledge to protect cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin – a subject that seemed hot to trot for the Libertarian attendees.
“I will support the right to self-custody to the nation’s 50 million crypto holders,” he promised. “…I will keep Elizabeth Warren and her goons away from your Bitcoin…We will save freedom, prosperity, and capitalism in America!”
In powerful remarks toward the end of his speech, he explained, “The Biden regime censors its critics, spies on its opposition, takes away the bank accounts of U.S. citizens as an extra form of punishment, persecutes Christians and patriotic parents, and is currently trying to put the leading candidate for president in jail – that happens to be me.”
He added, “Anyone can talk about defending freedom but I’ve ACTUALLY put everything on the line to resist these despots and these thugs. And I stand before you tonight as your best hope for defeating the weaponized Biden and the very evil regime.”
