Special guest speakers for President Trump’s Save America rally in Wisconsin were announced Wednesday as anticipation builds for the pivotal event.
The rally will take place just days after Trump endorsed Adam Steen, a primary challenger to Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.
Special guest speakers at the rally will include his endorsees including gubernatorial candidate Tim Michels, congressional candidate Derrick Van Orden, State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, and assembly speaker candidate Adam Steen.
According to the announcement, President Trump will deliver “remarks in support of Tim Michels for Governor of Wisconsin and the entire Wisconsin Trump Ticket.”
The Save America rally will offer America First candidates the chance to build momentum and deliver a final message to the people of Wisconsin ahead of Tuesday’s primary election.
Notably missing from the event will be Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis. In his explanation, Johnson stated, “Because this event supports one of the Republican gubernatorial candidates, I will not be attending. I do not endorse candidates in contested primaries. Instead I rely on the good judgement of Republican voters to choose our candidates and will be fully supportive of those who win their primary elections.”
The gubernatorial candidate Johnson refers to is Tim Michels, a pro-election integrity candidate who hopes to take back the governorship for Republicans. Urging supporters to attend the rally, Michels said, “A win in ’22 will help take our country back in ’24.”
As the 45th president heads to Wisconsin to bolster support for his endorsees, all eyes will be on the “Trump ticket” as the future of the state’s election integrity efforts hangs in the balance.
The Save America rally will take place at the Waukesha County Fairgrounds. Remarks from guest speakers at 5:00 p.m. ET. Finally, the 45th president will headline the event at 8:00 p.m. ET.
