President Trump reacted to the recent video that was released showing Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., threatening to punch the 45th president of the United States on Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump’s comments took place on the Salem News Channel when he was asked about his reaction to Pelosi’s inflammatory comments.

“Well, she’s a despicable person,” Trump responded. “Very bad for the country. If I ever said that, it would be a national scandal…what about Biden saying ‘Take him to the back of the barn, that’s what I’d do right now’? You know, I mean, this guy, if I ever said it, oh, that would be terrible. But he says it, they think it’s so cute, isn’t it wonderful?”

He quipped, “You know, you’d blow on him and he’d fall over. So, it’s one of those things that I have to put up with.”

Pelosi was inexplicably filmed on Jan. 6, 2021, stating that she had been “waiting for this,” and that she was going to “punch him [Trump] out and I’m gonna go to jail and be happy.”

Per RSBN, Pelosi’s comments were made to her staffers, and the scene was reportedly filmed by her daughter, Alexandra Pelosi. The footage aired on CNN earlier this month.

Pelosi’s comments draw attention to political duplicity, especially considering her reported refusal to approve President Trump’s request at the time to ensure National Guard troops were present at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 to keep the peace.

Pelosi has been a vocal critic of Trump and the so-called “insurrection” at the U.S. Capitol in 2021, and yet her own actions heavily indicate that she herself was far from in a “peaceful” mood on Jan. 6.

“Think of it,” Trump continued, “…She makes a statement like that – it’s totally fine…” he said, highlighting the double-standard in media treatment toward Pelosi’s comments.
