President Trump is turning the tables on his political opponents by calling for the immediate release of all text messages sent to and from the chief of staff to Barack Obama during “their attempt to overturn the 2016 Presidential election.”

In an official statement made through his Save America PAC on Friday, the 45th president said Obama and his cohorts “did everything they could to disrupt the peaceful transfer of power, and stop the ‘Will of the People’ with their Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, Mueller Scam, and more.”

Trump’s statement comes on the heels of bombshell findings in Special Counsel John Durham’s ongoing investigation into Hillary Clinton’s campaign during the 2016 presidential election and beyond.

In April, Durham reportedly unveiled evidence against former Clinton lawyer Michael Sussman, including text messages that allegedly prove Sussman was lying to the FBI in 2016.

Further, in February, Durham’s initial federal filing revealed that the Clinton campaign paid a technology company to infiltrate Trump Tower and White House servers.

These serious allegations raise questions as to just how hostile Obama and Clinton may have been toward Donald Trump. “They spied on my campaign, they spied on my transition team, and they even spied on the White House while I was in the Oval Office,” Trump’s statement said. “I wonder what the texts would reveal?”

Trump concluded that if Obama’s Chief of Staff’s text messages are brought to light, they could spell bad news for the Democrats. “Unlike my Chief of Staff, which show patriotic Americans concerned about illegal and massive Election Fraud in 2020, I say bad things would be revealed,” he said.
