President Donald Trump mocked the latest claim from the media that the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago home in Florida this week because they were seeking classified documents related to nuclear weapons.

“Nuclear weapons issue is a Hoax, just like Russia, Russia, Russia was a Hoax, two impeachments were a Hoax, the Mueller investigation was a Hoax, and much more,” he said late Thursday night in a statement posted to Truth Social.

The 45th president added, “Why wouldn’t the FBI allow the inspection of areas of Mar-a-Lago with our lawyer’s, or others, present. Made them wait outside in the heat, wouldn’t let them get even close – said ‘ABSOLUTELY NOT.’”

He further posed the question, “Planting information anyone? Reminds me of a Christopher Steele Dossier!”

On Monday, Trump’s private residence was raided by the FBI, marking the first time in history that the bureau had raided a president’s home.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar-A-Lago, in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said in a statement that evening that confirmed the raid.

On Thursday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland held a press conference and revealed that the Department of Justice had filed a motion to unseal the search warrant that was used in the FBI’s raid of the president’s home. He additionally revealed that he personally approved the warrant himself, per RSBN.

President Trump stated on Truth Social, “Not only will I not oppose the release of documents related to the unAmerican, unwarranted, and unnecessary raid and break-in of my home in Palm Beach, Florida, Mar-a-Lago, I am going a step further by ENCOURAGING the immediate release of those documents, even though they may have been drawn up by radical left Democrats and possible future political opponents…”
