President Donald Trump gave a scathing rebuke of New York Attorney General Letitia James and Hillary Clinton after the 2022 New York State Democrat Convention Thursday.
Responding to news of a New York judge’s decision to force him and two of his children to testify in Trump Organization investigation, Trump said, “THERE IS NO CASE!”
A Manhattan judge ruled Thursday that the 45th president, Ivanka Trump, and Donald Trump Jr. will be required to testify in James’ investigation into Trump Organization according to a report by the New York Post. This comes after Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr. initially signaled they would not comply with the attorney general’s subpoenas.
The media immediately promoted this news story in another attempt to discredit the 45th president and shift the narrative away from the damaging Clinton Russia hoax scandal.
Trump called out the double standard of the news media: “So Crooked Hillary Clinton, one of the most corrupt politicians ever to run for President, can break into the White House, my apartment, buildings I own, and my campaign- in other words, she can spy on a Presidential candidate and ultimately, the President of the United States- and the now totally discredited Fake News Media does everything they can not to talk about it.”
“On the other hand,” Trump stated, “Failed Gubernatorial candidate, Letitia James, can run for the office of AG on saying absolutely horrendous and false things about Donald Trump, a man she doesn’t know and has never met, go on to get elected, and then selectively prosecute him and his family.”
James dropped out of the New York governor’s race in December after poll numbers indicated “she had no chance” according to Trump. However, the attorney general said her decision was based on her need to finish “important investigations.” The Trump family has accused James of using her position to wage politically motivated attacks on them.
Eric Trump recently told the Daily Mail, “Letitia James is not working on behalf of the attorney general’s office. She is working for the DNC and using the resources of the State of New York to further her own political ambition.”
In a statement released Thursday, the 45th president said, “She is doing everything within their corrupt discretion to interfere with my business relationships, and with the political process.”
Trump claimed James’ investigation into his family and business is simply another attempt by the Democrats to prevent him from running for office again. He wrote, “The targeting of a President of the United States, who got more votes while in office than any President in History, by far, and is a person that the Radical Left Democrats don’t want to run again, represents an unconstitutional attack on our Country.”
“It is a continuation of the greatest Witch Hunt in history — and remember, I can’t get a fair hearing in New York because of the hatred of me by Judges and the judiciary. It is not possible,” Trump added.
While the media works to shield Hillary Clinton from John Durham’s report, they continue to attack the Trump family at every opportunity. However, Trump believes that the American people will “not allow this travesty of justice to happen.”
