President Donald Trump’s campaign released a statement along with his medical records over the weekend in a challenge to Vice President Kamala Harris.
Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung announced the public disclosure of Trump’s latest medical records from Dr. Ronny Jackson in a statement.
“President Trump has voluntarily released updates from his personal physician, as well as detailed reports from Dr. Ronny Jackson who treated him after the first assassination attempt. All have concluded he is in perfect and excellent health to be Commander in Chief,” Cheung wrote.
“He has maintained an extremely busy and active campaign schedule unlike any other in political history, whereas Kamala Harris has been unable to keep up with the demands of campaigning and reveals on a daily basis she is wholly unqualified to be President of the United States. Her schedule is much lighter because, it is said, she does not have the stamina of President Trump. Polls are reflective of this,” he added.
Trump also took to his Truth Social account on Monday to blast Harris, calling for her to take a cognitive test.
“I believe it is very important that Kamala Harris pass a test on Cognitive Stamina and Agility. Her actions have led many to believe that there could be something very wrong with her,” Trump wrote on Monday.
“Even 60 Minutes and CBS, in order to protect Lyin’ Kamala, illegally and unscrupulously replaced an answer she had given, which was totally “bonkers,” with another answer that had nothing to do with the question asked. Also, she is slow and lethargic in answering even the easiest of questions. We just went through almost four years of that, we shouldn’t have to do it again!” he stated.
Harris recently claimed that Trump is “unfit to serve” because he has not released his medical records. He has now released his most recent medical updates.
The vice president also released her own medical report on Saturday, according to ABC News.
Harris “remains in excellent health,” her physician, Dr. Joshua Simmons, said in a letter on Saturday, the outlet shared.
“She possesses the physical and mental resilience required to successfully execute the duties of the presidency, to include those as Chief Executive, Head of State and Commander in Chief,” the letter added.
