President Donald Trump faces a deadline on Monday in the New York civil fraud judgment, in which he must post more than $450 million in bond to block New York State Attorney General Letitia James from seizing his assets.

On Truth Social, Trump wrote, “These are Rigged cases, all coordinated by the White House and DOJ for purposes of Election Interference. THE NUMBER ENGORON SET IS FRAUDULENT. It should be ZERO, I DID NOTHING WRONG!”

The New York Times reported that James is “not expected to take any aggressive action on Monday” to seize Trump’s accounts or properties. Trump said last week that he had “NEARLY 500 MILLION DOLLARS IN CASH” which he stated that he intended to utilize in his 2024 campaign for president.

However, it seems clear that Trump will likely not be using that amount to secure the bond in Judge Engoron’s staggering judgment.

The president explained, “There should be no FINE. Did nothing wrong! Why should I be forced to sell my ‘babies’ because a CORRUPT NEW YORK JUDGE & A.G. SET A FAKE AND RIDICULOUS NUMBER.”

Interestingly, Trump is rapidly coming upon a multi-billion-dollar windfall upon the long-awaited merge of TMTG and DWAC, which has facilitated his free speech platform, Truth Social, to hit the stock market as a publicly-traded company. Per RSBN, Trump stands to make over $3 billion from the merger alone. However, it seems unlikely that the president would be willing to sell his stake in the company to post bond in the New York civil case just as Truth Social is poised to trade on the stock market.

Quizzically, Judge Engoron’s bond amount is equal to or even surpasses the original judgment of $454 million, which Trump has his attorneys have argued is unconstitutional and illegal.

“It would be completely illogical—and the definition of an unconstitutional Excessive Fine and a Taking—to require Defendants to sell properties at all, and especially in a ‘fire sale,’ in order to be able to appeal the lawless Supreme Court judgment, as that would cause harm that cannot be repaired once the Defendants do win, as is overwhelmingly likely, on appeal,” Trump’s lawyers argued last week.

On Monday, Trump described the cash grab as “ELECTION INTERFERENCE, ALL HEADED UP BY THE WHITE HOUSE – THIS INCLUDES FANI AND THE CORRUPT MANHATTAN D.C. BRAGG…WITCH HUNT!”
