President Donald Trump has surged historically in the polls amid a second politically-fueled indictment and Tuesday arraignment in Miami, demonstrating his popularity with American voters across the nation.

The president shared data from an online Twitter survey conducted by Interactive Polls on his Truth Social page, revealing that out of 17,720 respondents, 68.8 percent of them indicated that they would like to see Trump as the Republican presidential nominee in 2024. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) drew 26.4 percent in the same poll.

Respected national pollsters have also illustrated the president’s hefty lead. RealClearPolitics’ national Republican primary average found that Trump held a 33-point lead over DeSantis in the race for the 2024 GOP nomination.

Perhaps most incredibly of all, Trump has leveled all potential Republican competition in Morning Consult’s newest 2024 primary polling data. In their survey, they found that among GOP primary voters, Trump dominated with 59 percent against DeSantis’s 19 percent – giving the president a staggering 40-point lead.

As previously reported by RSBN, Trump is also leading in even the most mainstream polls, cementing 61 percent of support in a recent 2024 GOP primary poll from CBS compared to DeSantis’s 23 percent.

Per TIPP, Trump is additionally leading DeSantis among GOP voters and Republican-leaning Independents by 55 percent. In the same poll, DeSantis held 19 percent of support.

This week, President Trump headed to Miami, Florida, where he was scheduled to be arraigned at the federal courthouse on 37 charges related to the ongoing investigation into alleged “mishandling” of so-called classified documents.

The legal attacks leveled against Trump have only boosted his popularity among GOP voters, as demonstrated in Republican primary polls across the nation.

Per FiveThirtyEight polling, Trump also has a nationwide average of 32.5 percent while DeSantis has 21.3 percent of support.
