President Donald Trump acknowledged his administration’s exposure of “Deep State” corruption in a telling post shared to Truth Social this week.

“It was during the Trump Administration that the ‘Deep State’ corruption, and pure hatred of our Country, was fully EXPOSED – No longer just a nasty myth, concept or idea,” he wrote.

Trump’s comments were attached to a repost of a photo of the 45th president on the social media platform that included an intense caption from a user named Tara Wilson.

“This man’s first term exposed the most immense degeneration ever in the whole history of the Democrat Party’s disgusting, evil tactics[.] It was in that time they dramatically changed from spitefully intolerable hypocrites, & domestic thugs to sinfully immorally, totally heinous international terrorists,” the caption read.

President Trump reposted Wilson’s photo and caption, acknowledging that his administration shed light on the dirty underbelly of Washington politics. “This is yet another great achievement,” he added, “but something must now be done to rid us of this Cancer that is purposely destroying our Nation.”

Trump’s Truth Social comments are not the first time that he has touched on the chilling reality of political corruption within America’s government. During remarks delivered at CPAC 2022 in Florida, the president told the crowd that, “The Deep State can and must be brought to heel.”

As the November midterm elections quickly approach, Republicans appear to be poised to take control away from Democrats in Congress after the midterms. Via Interactive Polls, a new MSNBC poll even projected a Republican lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot of +2.2.

Trump added in his Truth Social comments, “There is far more danger from within than anything coming from the outside. We must join together and MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
