Delivering electrifying remarks at CPAC 2022, President Donald J. Trump called on Americans to rise to the occasion to defend their freedoms.
The 45th president warned on Saturday that the radical left does not know the “sleeping giant they have awoken” in the United States. In a speech that touched on Biden’s disastrous leadership in the Ukraine-Russia conflict, rising inflation, and Covid mandates, Trump was at times somber. “2022 will be the year that millions of everyday citizens stand up to left-wing fascists,” he firmly stated.
President Trump added, “We will again save our country from destruction,” slamming Joe Biden for his weak and absent leadership in the White House. “You could take the five worst presidents and put them together, and they would not have done the damage that Joe Biden and his administration has done,” he said.
Trump also attacked Big Tech in his speech, touting the release of his new social media platform, Truth Social, that will counter the tech oligarchy of websites like Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
“We’ll be fighting that [Big Tech] very hard by opening Truth Social,” he told the excited crowd.
The 45th president also touched on the massive “illegal harvesting scheme” in Georgia and other states, drawing attention to the evidence of staggering election fraud that has been stacking up around the country since the presidential election of 2020.
“We cannot ignore it [election integrity],” he told the audience, and warned that Democrats and the radical left will attempt to steal elections again in 2022 and 2024.
He also slammed those who refuse to cover reports of election fraud, stating, “To stand down and to stop talking about it, to stop talking about the cheating and corruption that went on… that’s really saying, ‘It’s okay, you can do it again.’ We can’t let that happen.”
“The Deep State can and must be brought to heel,” Trump concluded, drawing roars of approval from the energized crowd.
And although President Trump has not yet officially thrown his hat into the ring for a 2024 presidential run, he did promise the audience that, “We did it twice [won the election], and we’ll do it again. We’re going to be doing it again a third time.”
