The Republican Party released a video this Wednesday of President Trump urging Republicans to vote early by signing up with the Bank Your Vote campaign.
With just over 450 days to go until the 2024 elections, the Republican National Committee (RNC) launched a new campaign called the Bank Your Vote campaign just last month.
Ronna McDaniel, the Republican National Committee chairwoman, explains why this change in tactic has come about since President Trump has previously been against early voting.
At the campaign launch in Wisconsin, as reported by Fox6, McDaniel said in her speech, “When you have a football game, you don’t wait until the fourth quarter to start scoring.”
McDaniel elaborated on this new strategy: “We can’t do that. We have to make sure we’re not allowing Democrats to get such a huge start during these early voting periods that we have to make it all up on Election Day. It just doesn’t make sense.”
This Wednesday, the GOP released a 40-second video of President Trump on Twitter urging Republicans to vote early to eliminate the “disastrous crooked Biden administration.”
In the video, President Trump applauds the Republican National Committee (RNC) for their effort and explains what they intend to do, “The RNC is leading the fight to help secure your vote in 2024 as well. They’re fighting bad Democrat laws, putting folks on the ground to serve as poll workers and poll watchers and engaging attorneys to monitor every step of the voting process,”
President Trump has urged all Americans to make the right choice and allow the nation to recover from Biden’s administration, which currently faces calls for impeachment.
In closing, President Trump said, “We’re going to win, and we’re going to Make America Great Again.”
