President Donald Trump will reportedly head to New York City on Thursday, where he will make an appearance in court in the ongoing “hush money” case overseen by Judge Juan Merchan, The Washington Post has reported.

This comes after rumors spread that Trump would be headed to Fulton County, Georgia, on Thursday to attend a hearing that is set to look at allegations of Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s potential unethical behavior in the case against the president.

However, the president appears to be heading to the Big Apple instead. Per The Washington Post, President Trump is facing 34 counts in that case of “falsifying business records.” It is one of several legal battles that Trump is facing in 2024.

In Georgia, Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee previously said that he would greenlight a hearing on whether Willis should be disqualified from prosecuting the election-related RICO case against President Donald Trump in light of the allegations that have arisen against her.

Via ABC News, DA Willis allegedly had an improper relationship with an attorney whom she hired to prosecute Trump, Nathan Wade. Both Willis and Wade allegedly benefited financially from this relationship, although she has denied this.

Willis is also facing multiple woes aside from her upcoming hearing on Thursday, February 15. RSBN reported that she received a congressional subpoena from House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, in relation to questions on her handling of federal grant funding.

Further, Willis is also facing 22 articles of impeachment in the Georgia legislature over the ongoing allegations of potential misconduct regarding her relationship with Wade.

Michael Roman, a co-defendant in the election-related Georgia case, initially brought forth these allegations. Per ABC, he filed a motion that sought the dismissal of the charges against him and the subsequent dismissal of DA Willis over the allegations of her romantic relationship with Wade and the financial boons it may have incurred.
