Trump reaches 195 estimated electoral votes; swing states too early to call

President Donald Trump is over halfway to victory with 195 projected electoral votes, according to Decision Desk HQ.

Trump secured early victories over numerous red-leaning states while swing states are too early to call.

The 45th president has currently is projected to win Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota and portions of Nebraska.

Vice President Kamala Harris is projected to win Delaware, Illinois, Colorado, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and the District of Columbia for a total of 117 electoral votes.

A total of 270 electoral votes are required to win the presidential election.

Many swing states remain too early to call. Updates will be provided as available.

In the Senate, Republicans are projected to flip West Virginia, adding one seat to its total and leaving the GOP only one seat away from the majority.
