Only two months after taking office, President Donald Trump’s favorability ratings have reached their record highs, a new Fox News poll found.
Nearly half of those surveyed (49 percent) approved of the president’s job in office, including nine in 10 Republicans and six in 10 Independents.
Moreover, the president’s March 2025 approvals surpassed his 47.4 percent high from 2020, according to the Real Clear Politics polling averages, along with his previous 42.6 percent favorability during this same point in 2017.
Despite his marks for the economy and inflation dropped below 50 percent, a vast majority of Americans approved of his immigration and border policies, according to the poll.
Meanwhile, congressional Republicans’ favorability far surpassed Democrats’, garnering only a 12-point deficit (43 to 55 percent) compared to a 36-point deficit (30 to 66 percent).
Likewise, JD Vance remained slightly under water with his approvals (45 to 53 percent), compared to Elon Musk and the excess government spending he uncovered through DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency), having a 40 percent favorability rating to 58 percent disapproval.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s approval remained split, receiving a 47 percent approval to 47 percent disapproval.
