President Donald Trump’s powerful fundraising capabilities have come to fruition again in the first quarter of 2022, raking in over $19 million through his fundraising committees, Fox News reported. Trump now has $124 million cash on hand as of March.
Trump’s three fundraising committees, Save America PAC, Save America JFC, and MAGA PAC, have raised a massive war chest for the 45th president, who has ramped up appearances supporting America First candidates ahead of the midterms.
According to Breitbart, the average donation to the 45th president was $28.04. Overall, there were 679,445 contributions to Trump’s fundraising committees in the first quarter of 2022. Breitbart also reported 98.4 percent of the donations made to the 45th president were small-dollar contributions less than $200.
These fundraising figures show that Trump continues to dominate the Republican Party through his historic popularity with voters. He is in a solid position to help Republican candidates retake the House and the Senate in the midterm elections.
Taylor Budowich, Trump’s communications director, told Fox News, “President Donald J. Trump’s political organizations are positioned to carry his America First message into battleground races across the nation.”
Budowich added, “President Trump is incredibly well-positioned to look beyond November as the need for his leadership has never been more important.”
The 45th president broke fundraising records last year and helped the GOP raise over $500 million. As long as Trump remains the face of the Republican Party, the GOP has a legitimate chance of seeing a red wave in the midterm elections. His leadership continues to be the driving force of the Republican Party.
