President Trump had a successful winning streak on Tuesday night after all six of his endorsees won their primaries in Kentucky.
According to the state’s election results, U.S. Sen. Rand Paul scored Trump’s endorsement just in time, as the lawmaker cruised to victory with 86 percent of the vote.
The senator took to Twitter to celebrate his win: “Kentucky, I want to thank you for voting for me to be your Republican nominee for US Senate. I’m honored to serve and honored to have your vote.”
With more than half of the vote, the four endorsed House Republicans, Reps. Brett Guthrie, Thomas Massie, Harold Rogers, and Andy Barr, swept their primaries. Congressman James Comer snagged the state’s first district, running unopposed.
Trump celebrated the multiple wins on Truth Social writing, “6 Endorsements in Kentucky. All 6 have just been declared WINNERS.”
Nonetheless, the Bluegrass State wasn’t the only state that demonstrated Trump’s overwhelming influence in the Republican Party on Tuesday night.
Trump-endorsed Rep. Ted Budd, R-N.C., came out victorious, outpacing all of his Republican opponents for the U.S. Senate.
“North Carolina, none of this would have been possible without your support! I want to thank each and every one of you for your help during this campaign,” Budd said.
Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano won his GOP gubernatorial primary election following Trump’s endorsement.
“There is no one in Pennsylvania who has done more, or fought harder, for Election Integrity than State Senator Doug Mastriano. He has revealed the Deceit, Corruption, and outright Theft of the 2020 Presidential Election, and will do something about it,” the president said.
