Just before the rally kicked off in D.C., the president-elect was joined by First Lady Melania Trump, as well as Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance and his wife, Usha, at Arlington National Cemetery for a solemn wreath-laying ceremony. It was a sobering moment as well as poignant one as President Trump stood in silence, honoring America’s fallen heroes, while anticipating the mantle of of leadership soon to come.
The important prologue to the evening’s victory rally was the perfect reminder of the incredible sacrifices America’s military has made from the beginning to keep our country safe – and how important it is to have a leader who respects that sacrifice and treat America’s men and women in uniform with dignity.

He praised the president-elect’s unshakable confidence and devotion to the country. White remarked, “He is the toughest, most resilient person that I have ever met and nothing is going to stop him from fighting for the country he loves.”
“The fate of this country is tied to the fate of the country,” he continued, calling for Americans to unify around Trump’s presidency and to come together in the name American success.
President Trump’s indelible remarks
The president made a very special entrance on Sunday. He entered the arena by walking through the crowd, greeting the people with smiles and warmth as he moved toward the stage. It was a very unique way to take the stage, and it was a reminder that he is, indeed, the People’s President.
“We WON,” he said when he took the podium, drawing huge applause from the crowd.
The president reflected on the journey he had taken alongside the people over the past four years, noting that it was time to “set our country on the proper course.”
He hinted at a very busy day on Monday, despite the inaugural celebrations, in terms of signing executive orders. “You’re going to see executive orders that are going to make you extremely happy – lots of them,” he said.
The president emphasized the carnage at the southern border thanks to Joe Biden’s violent illegal immigration invasion.
He vowed, “By the time the sun sets tomorrow evening the invasion of our borders will have come to a halt and all the illegal trespassers will in some form or another, be on their way back home.”
“Tomorrow at NOON the curtain closes on four long years of American decline and we begin a brand new day of American strength and prosperity, dignity, and pride,” President Trump promised.
