President Trump issues powerful endorsement to fill MTG seat

President Trump has given a resounding endorsement to the GOP candidate running to fill the congressional seat vacated by former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., who resigned earlier this year.

In a Truth Social post on Tuesday, Trump urged voters in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District to show up and elect Republican Clay Fuller to replace Greene.

“To the Great Patriots in Georgia’s 14th Congressional District: GET OUT AND VOTE TODAY for a fantastic Candidate, Clay Fuller, who has my Complete and Total Endorsement!” President Trump said. “Polls are open from 7:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M. IF YOU ARE IN LINE BY 7 P.M., STAY IN LINE, AND THEY MUST LET YOU VOTE. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR CLAY FULLER — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN!”

Fuller, a Georgia District attorney, faces Democratic candidate Shawn Harris in a runoff after the two candidates achieved the top spots during a special election in March. The special election featured a contest among 17 candidates, with Harris winning 37 percent of the vote and Fuller coming in at 35 percent.

Fuller previously served as a White House Fellow during Trump’s first term, working within both the Office of the Vice President and the Department of Defense. President Trump appeared alongside Fuller during a campaign event in March. Fuller has stated his campaign strategy included highlighting the support he had received from President Trump and has described himself as a “MAGA warrior.”

A win for Fuller could mark a significant moment for the GOP as the party fights to maintain a slim majority ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The 14th Congressional District vacated by Greene leans heavily Republican, with voters favoring Trump in the 2024 presidential election by a massive 37-point margin.

In a statement on X, Fuller shared the presidential endorsement and emphasized his commitment to the Trump administration’s pro-America agenda. “THANK YOU, Mr. President. This is the honor of a lifetime. I will not let you or Georgia’s 14th District down,” Fuller said. “Our work to put America first is just getting started!”
