President Donald Trump mocked Vice President Kamala Harris for failing to hold a single sit-down interview in over three weeks since announcing her run for the White House.
His Truth Social post on Monday asked, “Why does Kamala refuse to answer questions from the media?”
The questions followed a series of attacks on Harris on Monday morning that included two other posts.
“IT WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR AMERICA TO SURVIVE ANOTHER FOUR YEARS OF A DEMOCRAT IN THE WHITE HOUSE!” Trump wrote in an earlier post in all caps on his account.
The third post attacked Harris over flip-flopping on her policy positions. She announced a similar “no taxes on tips” plan over the weekend after Trump popularized the idea.
“Kamala Harris has flip-flopped on virtually every policy she has supported and lived by for her entire career, from the Border to Tips, and the Fake News Media isn’t reporting it. She sounds more like Trump than Trump, copying almost everything. She is conning the American public, and will flip right back. I will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! There will be no flipping!!!”
Trump Campaign Communications Director Steven Cheung shared the strong words in the Sunday news release.
“Copy Cat Kamala is a dishonest, fraudulent failure. She won’t sit down and answer questions about why she stole President Trump’s No Tax on Tips proposal,” he wrote.
“She won’t sit down and answer questions about why she personally cast the deciding votes on trillions of dollars in corrupt and wasteful government spending that drove inflation through the roof and made basic necessities like rent, housing, gas, groceries, and utility bills too expensive for tens of millions of Americans to afford,” he continued.
The jab also contrasted Trump’s interview schedule, including a Monday conversation scheduled with X owner Elon Musk that promised to be unscripted and unfiltered.
Trump also conducted a press conference on Thursday that included an open question-and-answer session with reporters that lasted over an hour.
