President Donald Trump will be visiting the Iowa State Fair on Saturday, August 12, where he is expected to speak to Iowans amid his bid for 2024 reelection.
The Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines has been a busy place, with Trump ally and former Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake meeting and greeting caucus-goers at the fair on Friday alongside Team Trump.
President Trump is scheduled to arrive at the fairgrounds on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. ET.
As reported by RSBN, Trump has previously set his sights on the Iowa State Fairgrounds as the potential location of “The Great American State Fair,” which would celebrate the 250-year anniversary of the United States during a second term of the Trump presidency.
In a new mainstream NYT/Sienna poll, President Trump held the lead in the state’s GOP 2024 primary, netting 44 percent of Iowan Republican voters’ support compared to Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., who earned 20 percent.
