Over the past few weeks, much debate has been had over the legislative details of President Trump’s lauded “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which is currently being eyed by the U.S. Senate.

The president and his administration have heralded the bill as a much-needed piece of legislation that will codify multiple campaign promises. Despite critics’ naysaying, the “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” stands to deliver what could perhaps be the biggest tax cuts Americans have ever seen.

Amid the white noise of the mainstream media and the chaotic riots in Los Angeles, it can be easy to lose sight of the importance of the Trump-led legislation, but one thing is clear: the “One Big Beautiful Bill” will bring many more positives for the American people than political dissidents want to admit.

In fact, hidden within the bill are a litany of promised MAGA agenda items that the American people voted for by the millions in the 2024 presidential election – a moment when Republicans made their voices loud and clear.

Here are some of the most impressive items in the “One Big Beautiful Bill,” which promise to lift Americans from the depths of Biden-era economic despair:

Massive tax cuts for everyone

President Trump has championed this bill as bringing $1.6 trillion in cuts, with the White House describing it as the “largest tax cut in American history.” With potentially thousands of dollars of savings per household, the OBBB will grow the middle class – America’s most pivotal economic demographic – by reducing the crushing tax burden for those earning between $30,000 to $80,000. In all, the White House projects that middle-class Americans will pay around 15 percent less in taxes.

Additionally, Americans could experience up to $13,300 more in take-home pay. That’s a big step up from Joe Biden’s America, where taxes had been steadily rising and wages stumbled behind.

The elimination of taxes on tips and overtime

During his 2024 presidential campaign, President Trump championed the elimination of taxes on tips and overtime wages, and he’s sticking to those promises. Both of these items would be codified in the OBBB, easing yet another tax burden for hardworking American men and women.

In fact, it’s the elimination of taxes on overtime wages that has drawn the endorsement of the National Fraternal Order of Police, whose officers often find themselves working overtime.

“The bill creates a tax deduction for income taxes on overtime earnings for those who earn less than $160,000 per year,” the order explained in an official statement. “The bill also increases the SALT deduction from $10,000 to $40,400 for all taxpayers earning less than $505,000 per year.”

The continued funding of immigration enforcement

An economy is only as healthy as it is safe, and thanks to President Trump’s vision for American security, the OBBB will continue funding construction of the border wall, which includes hundreds of miles of construction and barriers.

Additionally, the OBBB will fund the hiring of thousands of new ICE agents, Border Patrol agents, and customs officers with the lofty goal of deporting a minimum of one million illegal aliens every year. The bill also incentivizes Border Patrol and ICE recruits with $10,000 annual bonuses for their hard and dangerous work.

Child credit raises and work requirements for welfare

President Trump’s administration is wildly pro-family, and the promise of a historic child tax credit raise is enticing for every taxpaying American parent. Trump’s bill would increase that credit to $2,500 for each family.

It will also reform the American welfare system, which has been too-often used and abused for the wrong reasons. First, it will require sovereign states to contribute a “greater portion of the cost of administering benefits” for SNAP. Second, it implements work requirements for “able-bodied Americans receiving taxpayer-funded benefits.”

Trump savings accounts

A fun and exciting item included in the OBBB is the concept of “Trump accounts” for newborn babies in the United States. These tax-deferred accounts will receive a one-time $1,000 donation from the federal government upon the child’s birth, and every year will be open to private additional contributions.

“Trump Accounts will contribute to the lifelong success of millions of newborn babies,” President Trump said during a special roundtable discussion focused on this idea.

The accounts will provide a much-needed head start in life for many American children.

Slashing ridiculous ‘green’ nonsense

The climate agenda has been a smokescreen for much unnecessary spending and taxation over the years, but the Trump administration is putting an end to that nonsense. With the OBBB, it axes electric vehicle mandates that would force Americans to buy electric vehicles, and it also terminates “Green New Deal” tax credits.

The bill also aims to increase timber sales and production on federal land, which, in turn, will arguably improve the health of forests across the United States in terms of wildfire suppression.

Military quality of life and might

The OBBB will allocate approximately $9 billion for the United States military to enhance servicemembers’ quality of life, including improvements to barracks. According to Military.com, another $34 billion will be utilized for strengthening America’s naval fleet by kick-starting new shipbuilding projects, and yet another $25 billion for the president’s proposed space-oriented “Golden Dome” missile defense shield system.

A winning piece of legislation

The One Big Beautiful Bill Act focuses on a long list of additional items, like protecting American family farmers from the horrific “death tax” and reforming the federal student loan program, which has inarguably taken advantage of young, innocent kids with crushing debt loads.

For proponents of the Second Amendment, it will nix those ridiculous tax and registration requirements for silencers and even remove them from the “National Firearms Act” in a legislative move American Suppressor Association General Counsel Michael Williams described to “The Federalist” as potentially “the most important victory for the Second Amendment community in the federal legislature in at least 20 years, you could argue in the last 40 years…”

The OBBB may look a little different by the time it has potentially passed Congress and makes it to President Trump’s desk, but the core components of this bill – which ultimately ease tax burdens on Americans and follow through on much-needed campaign promises – aim to help everyday people escape the economic devastation of Biden’s apocalypse and step into the future of Trump’s “Golden Age.”
