President Donald J. Trump will return to Dallas, Texas, to headline the National Rifle Association’s 153rd Annual Meeting later this month.
On Saturday, May 18, 2024, President Trump will give his ninth address to the association, reaffirming his commitment to protecting Second Amendment rights.
Earlier this year, in February, Trump spoke at the NRA Presidential Forum in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. There, he told NRA members, “It was my honor to be the best friend gun owners have ever had in the White House by far… Now I stand before you with a very simple promise: your Second Amendment will always be safe with me as your president!”
Speaking about Trump’s strong support of gun rights, NRA-ILA Executive Director Randy Kozuch called Trump’s upcoming speech in Dallas “a powerful sign of his ongoing commitment to our constitutional freedoms and the Association’s efforts to protect and advance the Second Amendment rights of every law-abiding American.”
Kozuch added, “His fellow NRA members can’t wait to hear from him at this pivotal moment in our Nation’s history.”
The NRA meeting will take place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
