A law enforcement source has told Fox News that the Manhattan district attorney’s office will likely arraign President Donald Trump next week, following this week’s witness testimony to the grand jury assigned to the case. An indictment is expected Wednesday at the earliest, the outlet reported Tuesday.
This news comes after law enforcement on the ground in New York began erecting barricades and mobilizing a reported 700 riot officers in anticipation of Trump’s potential indictment, RSBN reported.
Per Fox, a virtual option of arraignment was presented but Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is reportedly opposed to it.
On Sunday, Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., urged Americans to embrace “calmness” if they chose to protest the president’s possible arrest.
Last weekend, Trump called on supporters to “PROTEST, PROTEST PROTEST” in response to the dire state of the nation on Truth Social:

Despite Trump’s potential looming indictment, House Republicans took swift action on Monday to demand cooperation from Bragg, requesting communications and documents regarding the Manhattan probe into President Trump’s personal and financial affairs.
The request was made in a letter signed by the chairmen of the Committees on the Judiciary, House Administration, and Oversight and Accountability.
Via RSBN, Trump called on accountability for Bragg’s conduct as district attorney, writing, “ALVIN BRAGG SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THE CRIME OF ‘INTERFERENCE IN A PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.”
