Conservative activist Scott Presler celebrated Tuesday’s massive victory for Republicans and reminded Americans that Republicans “only need four seats” to take back the House of Representatives.
After Mayra Flores was declared the winner of Tuesday’s special election in Texas, Presler tweeted, “Congratulations to @MayraFlores2022, who just flipped a border, Hispanic, democrat congressional district from blue to red.”
Despite campaigning in a historically strongly Democrat district, Flores was able to pull off a win for the conservative movement sweeping across the nation.
Even left-leaning media sources such as CNN are predicting “very good” 2022 midterm election results for the Republican Party, based on the current political movement in the United States. As Presler explained, “This is massive, earth-shattering news & foreshadows a potential political realignment.”
According to Fox News, Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel described Tuesday’s “huge” victory as “A precursor of things that we think are to come in Hispanic communities across the country.”
McDaniel added, “Democrats should be very, very worried about what we’re seeing with Hispanic voters.”
Currently, Democrats hold a slim majority in the House of Representatives. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who announced he voted for Flores in Tuesday’s election, is predicting a “Massive red wave in 2022.” According to Business Insider, Tuesday’s special election marks the first time Musk has voted for a Republican candidate.
With the U.S. economy suffering under record inflation, the Republican Party has a significant chance to retake the House and the Senate by flipping multiple seats in districts fed up with the impacts of Democrat policies.
“After last night’s win in South Texas, Republicans only need 4 seats to flip the House & 31 democrats are not seeking re-election,” tweeted Presler. He added, “Thanks to Governor DeSantis’ redistricting efforts, Florida — alone — can win us back the House this November.”
