The domino effect: World leaders and businesses fall over themselves to make nice with Trump as he takes power

Since President Donald Trump’s historic reelection victory on November 5, 2024, world leaders and dominant businessmen from around the globe have scrambled to get in line and straighten up in anticipation of the 47th president-elect’s incoming administration – and for good reason.

Under the leadership of Joe Biden, the world has been a mess. Global power players overseas have unleashed violence and war in the Middle East and Eastern Europe. Illegal immigration has gotten out of control, as third-world countries like Mexico, Venezuela, and the Congo allow their people to flood across American borders.

Big Tech companies have abused their monopoly over the digital landscape to control and censor political information. The Department of Justice has gone after Biden’s political opponent with unrepentant viciousness. And corporations have embraced destructive DEI and Marxist hiring and training policies that have led to a weaker and unfair workforce.

That all changes on January 20, 2025, and the world knows it. When President Donald Trump takes office at 12:01 p.m. on Inauguration Day, the world will know that dad has come home and disciplinary action is on the horizon. So, in anticipation of this pivotal moment in American history, it’s unsurprising to see world leaders and corporate giants preemptively kissing the ring and doing their best to make nice with the man they vengefully persecuted.

Will it work? Time will tell, but so far, the rapid reshuffling of global power has been stunning, and it’s a sign that even President Trump’s most obnoxious critics are falling into line.

A national mandate of peace through strength

President Trump’s victory last year delivered a mandate: the American people are sick and tired of radical lunacy and communist failure. They’re ready for America First common sense, economic success, and law and order. The 47th president-elect has been tasked with implementing an enormously important agenda that seeks to crush Deep State corruption and halt despotic globalism, and whether they like it or not, world leaders will be forced to respect America once again.

“We must have ‘PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH’ and in a short time, the Presidential election of 2024 will produce that result,” President Trump wrote in a statement in July 2023, while discussing the escalating violence between Russia and Ukraine, made worse by Joe Biden’s provision of munitions to the war-torn region.

Since 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has taken advantage of billions of dollars of resources on the American taxpayers’ dime – resources that have kept the war wheel turning in Europe. But immediately after Trump’s victory in November, Zelenskyy was suddenly very keen on calling for a diplomatic end to the violence.

“From our side, we must do everything so that this war ends next year, ends through diplomatic means,” the Ukrainian leader said in November, via NBC. And in December, Russian President Vladimir Putin also stated that he was open to holding a meeting with President Trump to discuss bringing peace to Europe.

The winds have shifted, and world leaders know it. Just this week, President Trump also announced that he had successfully leveraged a deal to free the hostages in the Middle East caught in the bloody war between Israel and Hamas. “THEY WILL BE RELEASED SHORTLY,” he wrote on Truth Social.

He added in a second statement, “This EPIC ceasefire agreement could have only happened as a result of our Historic Victory in November, as it signaled to the entire World that my Administration would seek Peace and negotiate deals to ensure the safety of all Americans, and our Allies.”

This type of proactive diplomacy is stunning, and it shows just how wildly incompetent and embarrassing the Biden-Harris administration has been.

Goodbye, Trudeau

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently announced he would resign from his position as soon as the Liberal Party chooses a new leader. According to the BBC, Trudeau cited “internal battles” as the reason for his resignation, but it’s no coincidence that the socialist-leaning leader tapped out just weeks after Trump won reelection, especially as the president has roundly threatened to tariff Canadian imports up to 25 percent if they don’t crack down on border security.

This also comes amid President Trump’s comments about potentially acquiring Canada as a 51st state. “Many people LOVE [the idea of] being the 51st State,” Trump wrote on Truth Social in early January. “…If Canada merged with the U.S., there would be no Tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be TOTALLY SECURE from the threat of Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them. Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!”

Whether President Trump is simply leveraging the conversation to strongarm Canada into paying their dues and cooperating with American interests remains to be seen. Acquiring Canada in any capacity would be a major power move, and the conversation alone sends a signal that America is back in action and ready to play tough again – and win.

The magic of Greenland

In recent weeks, President Trump has also made serious rumblings about bringing Greenland into the United States as a potential territory. In fact, this is such a serious conversation that he sent his son, Donald Trump Jr., on a diplomatic visit to the region in early January.

The president wrote on Truth Social shortly after, “The reception has been great. They, and the Free World, need safety, security, strength, and PEACE! This is a deal that must happen. MAGA. MAKE GREENLAND GREAT AGAIN!”

Swathed in ice and home to a myriad of fishing villages, most Americans likely haven’t given Greenland too much thought, but there is more to the frosty region than meets the eye. The subsoil of the country contains incredible rare earth minerals like coal, graphite, and uranium, per Greenland’s Institute of Natural Resources. There are also large amounts of gold, silver, copper, zinc, and marble, according to their data.

Strategically speaking, the United States would also benefit by building military bases near critical Arctic shipping routes. The Conversation has even reported that a Transpolar Sea Route will likely open by 2050, which will dip close to Greenland’s shores. Interestingly enough, other countries like Russia have attempted to lay claim to territory in the Arctic Circle, where an unclaimed region stretches between the North Pole and the Arctic Ocean, per The Observer.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Russia has shown interest in claiming this territory. If Greenland were to become a U.S. territory, not only would the people there fall under the protection of the U.S. military, but America would have a very serious shot at ensuring swatches of unclaimed territory in the polar region do not fall under Russian or Chinese control.

Currently, Greenland is tied closely to Denmark, and President Trump’s comments have certainly made waves internationally, evoking a response from Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen. “We fully recognise that Greenland has its own ambitions. If they materialise, Greenland will become independent, though hardly with an ambition to become a federal state in the United States,” he said in a statement via Reuters.

Once laughed off as a silly joke, the concept of the United States acquiring Greenland as a territory has now become a serious possibility. In fact, if Trump were to successfully acquire both Canada and Greenland together, it would be the biggest land expansion in the United States since the Louisiana Purchase in 1803, which doubled the American landmass and set the frontier spirit ablaze.

If anyone can negotiate that kind of deal, it’s President Donald Trump, and it appears that world leaders are eager to please.

A sheepish surrender from the corporate oligarchy

META CEO Mark Zuckerberg has publicly announced that he will eliminate censorship-happy “fact-checkers” from Facebook ahead of Trump’s inauguration, which seems a bit rich coming from the same guy who dumped hundreds of millions of dollars into election processes in Wisconsin in 2020 via a murky non-profit, as previously reported by RSBN.

“We are watching him closely, and if he does anything illegal this time he will spend the rest of his life in prison — as will others who cheat in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Trump wrote in his most recent book, Save America, which released before the election last year.

Clearly, Zuckerberg took this threat to heart. Regardless, the tech leader’s attempt to appease the incoming Trump administration signals a seismic shift in Big Tech. Open AI’s Sam Altman, Amazon Executive Chairman Jeff Bezos, and Apple CEO Tim Cook have also donated to the president-elect’s inaugural fund. Even beyond tech, corporations are falling over themselves to play nice.

Coca-Cola presented the incoming president with a special commemorative Diet Coke bottle this week, gifted personally by Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincy, per RSBN. And filmmaking giant Disney – which has come under intense scrutiny for constantly implementing LGBTQ storylines into their children’s shows and movies – announced shortly after Trump won the election that they would be removing a transgender plotline from an upcoming television series.

“When it comes to animated content for a younger audience, we recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline,” the company said in a statement, via NBC.

The cultural and political shift is tangible. President Trump means business, and even the most radical power players don’t want to tangle with him this time around.

Who will be next?

The only question that remains as President Trump takes office on January 20 is who will be the next leader or organization to wave the white flag of surrender and concede to the People’s President? Will it be California Governor Gavin Newsom, who has recently overseen ongoing and hellish fires in Southern California, incurring billions of dollars of damage?

“One of the best and most beautiful parts of the United States of America is burning down to the ground. It’s ashes, and Gavin Newscum should resign. This is all his fault!!!” Trump wrote in early January.

Will Governor Newsom follow in Prime Minister Trudeau’s footsteps and resign? Who else will be next? It’s plain to see that despite Democrat or radical leftist’s political posturing and media soundbites, they have a healthy respect for President Trump, like him or not.

With Trump in the White House, anything is possible, and the mad rush from the world’s most powerful people to show deference to the president’s incoming administration proves that the best is truly yet to come.
