President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that he will end all sanctuary cities if elected in November.

Trump revealed the new plan during his Wilmington, North Carolina, rally before thousands of supporters.

“I’m announcing a new plan to end all sanctuary cities in North Carolina and all across our country,” Trump said.

“As soon as I take office, we will immediately surge federal law enforcement to every city that is failing, which is a lot of them, to turn over criminal aliens,” he continued. “And we will hunt down, capture every single gang member, drug dealer, rapist, murderer, and migrant criminal that is being illegally harbored.”

Trump intends to work with Congress to outlaw sanctuary cities so the government can use federal resources to enforce the bans.

“I will ask Congress to pass a law outlawing sanctuary cities nationwide, and we will bring down the full weight of the federal government on any jurisdiction that refuses to cooperate with ICE,” he stated.

Trump’s campaign has continued highlighting Vice President Kamala Harris’ failures as President Joe Biden’s border czar.

“She called the wall ‘un-American,’ a ‘waste of taxpayer money,’ ‘medieval,’ and said it isn’t going to ‘stop’ illegal immigration,” Trump campaign National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement last month.

“As a senator, Kamala tried to block President Trump’s construction of the border wall. As Border Czar, Kamala Harris halted construction of the border wall. Kamala’s ACTIONS speak much louder than the WORDS of the anonymous staff she is cowering behind,” the statement concluded.

During an August visit to the southern border in Arizona, Trump also said he will push for the death penalty against anyone guilty of sex trafficking.

“With your vote, we will seal the border, stop the invasion, and launch the largest deportation effort in American history. We will impose tough new sentences on illegal alien criminals,” Trump stated.

“These include a 10-year mandatory minimum sentence for anyone guilty of human smuggling, a guaranteed life sentence for anyone guilty of child trafficking, and a death penalty for anyone guilty of child or woman sex trafficking,” he continued.

Trump’s comments also addressed the death penalty as an option for drug traffickers from other countries, as RSBN previously reported.

“We’ll also impose the death penalty on major drug dealers and traffickers in other countries on their immigration papers. There’s a statement that says ‘death for drug traffickers,’ big letters, big, bold letters, 10 times the size of everything else on the page,” he added.
