President Donald Trump’s campaign called the Harris-Biden administration the “most dishonest administration in history” after the White House edited President Joe Biden’s transcript that called Trump supporters “garbage.”
The statement came following controversy about the official transcript changing Biden’s wording after his offensive comments.
“The Harris-Biden administration is the most dishonest administration in history,” the Trump campaign said in a Friday statement.
“They continue to get caught covering up the truth. They tried to cover up Joe Biden calling Trump supporters ‘garbage.’
“They lied about crime statistics and had to revise the data showing that violent crime went up, not down.
“They lied about job numbers and had to revise them by 818,000,” it continued.
The employment statistic referred to a Bureau of Labor Statistics report in March. The data was updated in August to show the large difference.
The Trump campaign concluded with criticisms about Vice President Kamala Harris, blasting her claims about the border, economy and Biden’s health.
“Kamala Harris has shown herself to be thoroughly dishonest: she said the border was secure, that Bidenomics is working, and that Joe Biden was in good health,” the campaign’s statement said. “Kamala Harris leads the most corrupt and dishonest administration in American history.”
As RSBN previously reported, Trump arrived at his Green Bay, Wisconsin, rally on Wednesday night in a garbage truck and wearing an orange safety vest.
The publicity stunt came less than 24 hours after President Joe Biden referred to Trump’s supporters as “garbage.”
“I have to begin by saying 250 million Americans are not garbage,” Trump said during his speech, to the delight of the crowd.
“This week, Kamala has been comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history, and now, speaking on a call for her campaign last night, crooked Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think of our supporters. He called them ‘garbage,’” he added.
During Tuesday’s remarks to reporters, Biden said, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”
