President Donald Trump announced the launch of “Jewish Voices for Trump” on Thursday as a coalition of leaders and influencers within the Jewish community.

The announcement coincided with Trump’s speech at an event to stop antisemitism in New Jersey.

“United by its faith and heritage, the ‘Jewish Voices for Trump’ coalition recognizes the dangerous rise in radical leftist antisemitism in our streets and on our college campuses, and the historic achievements President Donald J. Trump made towards the strength and stability of the Jewish community, both at home and abroad,” a Trump campaign statement wrote.

“When he returns to the White House, President Trump is committed to the promise of restoring peace and prosperity, not just for the Jewish people, not just for the State of Israel, but for the entire world,” it added.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel David Friedman took to X to express his support for the new effort.

“Proud to be a Jewish Voice for Trump. I encourage all those who abhor antisemitism and support Israel to add your voices to this movement,” he stated.

Trump was known for his strong Jewish support during his first term in office. The Jewish Voices for Truth website listed several of his accomplishments including recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem and acknowledging Israeli sovereignty of the Golan Heights.

He also helped broker the Abraham Accords, an unprecedented normalization agreement between Israel and Arab nations.

Trump also signed the Combatting Anti-Semitism Executive Order in 2019 that codified antisemitism under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

A wide array of leaders in the Jewish community added their comments of support to the launch of the new coalition.

“The Republican Jewish Coalition (RJC) is proud to stand with the most pro-Israel President in US history, Donald J. Trump. This is the most important election of our lifetimes, and the RJC is all-in to elect President Trump and Senator Vance,” RJC National Chairman, Senator Norm Coleman, and RJC CEO Matt Brooks wrote.

“I have known President Donald J. Trump for over 25 years. He fully understands the issues our great country is facing and is unafraid to speak the truth about the dramatic dangers lurking around the world for America and its allies,” said Jason Greenblatt, former Assistant to the President and Special Representative for International Negotiations.

Morgan Ortagus, former State Department spokeswoman, also noted, “The October 7th attacks were the outcome of the Harris-Biden administration’s failed policies. Contrast that with President Trump’s peace through strength, and the choice is clear.”
