President Donald J. Trump has been lighting up the social media world again with his posts on Truth Social, and he is just as excited about it as his supporters.
“I love being on TRUTH!” the 45th president stated on Friday.
President Trump has been posting regularly to his Truth Social account, marking his return to social media for the first time since being banned by Big Tech oligarchs like Twitter and Facebook. Already, he has racked up over 2.5 million followers on Truth Social, which has been open for only one week.
Truth Social is set to roll out some special new features for users this year. The CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group, Devin Nunes, stated during an interview on Fox Business that a web application is on the way and would likely be available by the end of May.
Truth Social’s venture into social media has been a smashing success. In April, the Truth Social app soared to number one in the Apple app store, dominating its competitor, Twitter, even in light of the news that billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX had purchased the platform for $44 billion.
President Trump has been utilizing his Truth Social account to communicate with his base of supporters. On Wednesday, Trump posted his excitement about the Republican Party’s victory in Ohio. Trump-endorsed candidates had a clean sweep in the Republican primary race. “Yesterday was brilliant for the Republican Party!” Trump said.
As millions of users join Truth Social, supporters of the 45th president are eager to connect with him and stay up-to-date on his latest rallies, comments, and endorsements.
