President Donald Trump brought an entertaining entourage along with him on Saturday night to UFC 295 at Madison Square Garden in New York, garnering a rock star welcome when he walked into the arena.

The president arrived in style with Kid Rock, former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Donald Trump Jr., and UFC CEO Dana White.

His appearance drew massive cheers and applause from the audience as attendees saw Trump enter the arena with his friends in tow.

Tucker Carlson appeared to be having an especially good time, with videos on social media showing the journalist laughing robustly and chatting with Donald Trump Jr., as they made their way to their seats.

President Donald Trump has been a longtime fan of the UFC, and he has often attended the events as a ringside spectator. In April, President Trump showed up at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida, where he sat with Dana White, Kid Rock, Mike Tyson, and his son, Donald Trump Jr.

The warm welcome that President Trump received at Madison Square Garden was especially impactful, considering New York has been at the center of his real estate business for years. “THANK YOU! #UFC295,” Trump wrote on Truth Social after the event, posting another clip of his entrance into the arena.

The president’s attendance at the UFC event came just hours after he delivered remarks in Claremont, New Hampshire, at a campaign event. His move to show up at UFC with Tucker Carlson also drew speculation on the heels of Trump’s most recent comments regarding the journalist.

According to The Hill, the president said that he would consider Carlson as a potential vice presidential running mate last week, describing him as someone who had “great common sense.”
