During a Monday night interview on Fox News with Brett Baier, Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake eviscerated the media’s narrative of the 2020 election and highlighted the evidence of voter fraud.
In a glowing statement on Truth Social, President Donald Trump stated, “Arizona Gubernatorial Candidate Kari Lake was absolutely fantastic in her interview with a very unfair Bret Baier on Fox News.” He added, “She absolutely destroyed him on the subject of the 2020 Presidential Election Fraud and ‘Irregularities.'”
Trump said Lake’s interview on Fox News is “a MUST WATCH.” He added that Fox News will likely not invite her to come back on the show. Trump also pointed out that Baier seemingly wanted to avoid the subject of voter fraud in the 2020 election and had “no answers” for the Arizona candidate.
The 45th president described Lake as “the kind of tough minded and smart person our Country needs if we are ever going to be great again!”
“WATCH what happens when a Mama Bear takes down a Fake News Baier,” said Lake. “The Corrupt Media REFUSES to talk about the biggest story of our lifetime: a STOLEN election.” Lake explained that instead of presenting the evidence of voter fraud in the 2020 election, the news media tries to distract the American people with “meaningless stories.”
During her interview with Baier, Lake said that the problems facing the state of Arizona would not be happening if America had “fair, honest elections.” She added, “We have an illegitimate president sitting in the White House.”
After Baier pushed back against Lake’s claims regarding the 2020 election, she explained, “Here’s what we have. 740,000 ballots that have no chain of custody. They cannot be authenticated, and they should not have been counted.”
“There’s a mountain of evidence,” said Lake. She urged the media to stop pretending the election was secure and to present the evidence. Baier responded by saying that the attorney general had found no credible evidence. Nevertheless, Lake explained that if she is elected to Arizona, she will fight to uncover the truth behind the election.
Shifting to a different topic, Baier brought up a Washington Post story claiming that Lake had previously been a fan of drag queens. Lake responded, “I’m actually appalled that Fox News would take a defamatory story like that… I’m appalled that you would bring that up when you have not talked about our stolen election.”
After the interview aired on television, the director of “2000 Mules,” Dinesh D’Souza, tweeted, “Kari Lake’s decimation of pompous Brett Baier is precisely why Fox has banned any host from mentioning #2000Mules.”
In addition to D’Souza’s response, Lake, a journalist herself, cautioned reporters on Twitter, saying, “You best watch @DineshDSouza’s film before you ask me about the 2020 Election.”
Lake, who has repeatedly demonstrated that she is a staunch advocate for election integrity, recently stated her desire for “justice for a stolen election … because this election had deadly consequences.”
