President Donald Trump blasted Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg Thursday for refusing to “drop” his case against the 45th president regarding an alleged $130,000 hush-money payment to Stormy Daniels.
Slamming Bragg in a post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Everybody knows I’m 100% innocent, including Bragg, but he doesn’t care. He is just carrying out the plans of the radical left lunatics. Our country is being destroyed, as they tell us to be peaceful!”
On Wednesday, Trump shared new bombshell evidence that contradicts Cohen’s testimony and the allegations against the 45th president.
“In a private transaction in 2016, before the U.S. presidential election, Mr. Cohen used his own personal funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000 to Ms. Stephanie Clifford,” the letter by Stephen M. Ryan, counsel for Michael Cohen, stated. “Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford, and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly.”
According to The Hill, the Manhattan grand jury is not expected to “weigh the case” involving Bragg’s investigation into the 45th president on Thursday. As a result, the grand jury is not expected to meet again until at least next Monday.
Based on the evidence shared Wednesday regarding the letter from Cohen’s lawyer to the FEC, Trump believes the case against him should be dropped immediately.
In another post on Truth Social, Trump wrote, “Why won’t Bragg drop this case? Everybody says there is no crime here. I did nothing wrong! It was all made up by a convicted nut job with zero credibility, who has been disputed by highly respected professionals at every turn. Bragg refuses to stop despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. He is a Soros backed animal who just doesn’t care about right or wrong no matter how many people are hurt. This is no legal system, this is the Gestapo, this is Russia and China, but worse. Disgraceful!”
Throughout Bragg’s investigation and the recent rumors of the first indictment of a U.S. president, Trump has warned the American people that the investigation is merely another attempt by the Democrat Party to “come after” the American people by attacking him.
Trump continues to urge Americans to pray for the nation, warning, “We’ve never been in this danger before.”
