President Donald Trump defended his “PERFECT” phone calls with Georgia’s elected officials about the 2020 elec. He said he is “seeking Fairness and the Truth” behind the 2020 election as the media continues ignoring voter fraud evidence.
“The Georgia phone calls were PERFECT,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “Many people and lawyers, on both sides, were knowingly on the one call, I assumed the call was taped, there were Zero complaints or angry ‘how dare you’ charges made during the call, and no ‘hang ups’ by anyone aggrieved or insulted at what was said.”
In the weeks following the 2020 election, Trump’s legal team gathered evidence of voter fraud in several key swing states and encouraged lawmakers to refrain from certifying the election results until they could determine the truth. After two years of investigations, states continue to face growing pressure to decertify the election results as proof of voter fraud continues to mount.
However, despite Trump’s claims concerning the Georgia phone calls, Democrats have argued that Trump’s post-election phone calls with Georgia officials were conducted in an attempt to change the election results.
Trump again explained Wednesday on Truth Social, “THEY WERE PERFECT CALLS.”
Trump’s comments come after ABC News recently reported that Gov. Brian Kemp, R-Ga., provided testimony to Fulton County’s grand jury investigation into the 45th president. According to the outlet, a spokesperson for Kemp would not comment on the proceedings.
“I was just doing my job as President, and seeking Fairness and the Truth,” said Trump. “The Election was Rigged and Stolen!”
While Fulton County has been investigating Trump, the state has largely refused to investigate election fraud evidence presented by Dinesh D’Souza and True the Vote.
In a speech at the America First Policy Institute this week, Trump said, “I ran the first time and I won. Then I ran a second time and I did much better. We got millions and millions more votes … We may just have to do it again.”
As Trump told Americans this week, “It was a catastrophe, that election. A disgrace to our country.”
