The situation at Columbia University has become increasingly dire, as pro-Palestinian protestors have set up an encampment and allegedly terrorized Jewish students with anti-Semitic statements and behavior.

This comes amid growing anti-Semitic trends in the domestic United States and abroad in the wake of the Iran-Israel conflict unfolding overseas, following a bloody terrorist incursion into the Holy Land in October 2023 at the hands of Hamas terrorists.

The invasion has sparked an ongoing war in the Middle East and stirred up disturbing sentiments in seemingly unlikely places, particularly in the academic setting. Pro-Palestinian protestors have posed such an intense threat that on Monday, the university moved its classes online, as reported by RSBN.

Via NBC News, Columbia University President Nemat “Minouche” Shafik stated that the campus needed a “reset” even as shocking videos surfaced online depicting offensive anti-Semitic behavior on campus.

In one video circulating on X, masked protestors yelled racial slurs at who can be assumed to be Jewish people as they passed by, although this is not confirmed. One woman shouted, “We’re ALL Hamas, pig.” Another yelled, “Keep it moving, you Zionist pig.”

It is important to note that pro-Palestinian protestors are not necessarily pro-Hamas, although according to the footage above, Hamas supporters appeared to be present at Columbia University, as well.

While the chaos has been unfolding on campus at Columbia, President Donald Trump has been facing an ongoing criminal trial in Manhattan, and on Monday, he took to Truth Social to highlight the hypocrisy in how protestors are treated in America.

He wrote, “The Palestinian Protests at Columbia University have CLOSED THE COLLEGE DOWN. But the area surrounding the Courthouse, in Downtown Manhattan, is closed up like a drum, with New York City’s Finest (Police) all over the place.”

The president suggested, “Why not send some to Columbia to protect Jewish Students, and others. The University would then not have to Shut Down. Republicans want the right to protest in front of the Courthouse, like everyone else!”

He noted that it was “SO UNFAIR” how MAGA supporters were treated in comparison to the screaming “Radical Left Palestinian Protestors” who seem to hold Columbia University in the palm of their hands.

Trump pointed out that they “screamed, ‘Death to the Jews, Death to Israel, Death to America,’ and nothing happened to them, Lower Manhattan surrounding the Courthouse, where I am heading now, is completely CLOSED DOWN. SO UNFAIR!!!”

The demonstration at Columbia University is one of many that have popped up across the nation over the past few months. Pro-Palestinian protestors have shut down the Golden Gate Bridge, stormed the Cannon Rotunda at Capitol Hill, and blocked the roads in Hollywood over the past few weeks alone.

But who is organizing these nationwide protests? Since last fall, the tempo of these events have quickened significantly, and it’s little wonder, perhaps, that the organizations behind the demonstrations are linked to donors like George Soros and the Rockefeller Brothers Fund.

According to Al Jazeera, the Columbia student protests are being led by Columbia University Apartheid Divest, Jewish Voice for Peace, and Students for Justice in Palestine. Reportedly, George Soros (through his Open Society Foundation) has written grants for the Jewish Voice for Peace.
