After surviving an assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, President Donald Trump triumphantly returned back to the same site for a campaign rally nearly three months later.
Drawing “Over 100,000” attendees, the Trump campaign posted Saturday to X, the Butler rally also garnered 28.6 million views on the president’s own X account, as of Sunday afternoon.
Across RSBN’s streaming platforms, the Trump rally stream garnered 1.1 million views on X, an additional 1.4 million more views on YouTube, and 1.2 million on Rumble as of Sunday.
More images released to X further showed thousands of attendees packed into the Butler Fairgrounds awaiting President Trump’s return to the July 13 shooting site many hours before his arrival.
During the rally, President Trump was joined by guests including SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, vice presidential running mate Sen. J.D. Vance, R-Ohio, Pennsylvania GOP Senate nominee Dave McCormick, musician Lee Greenwood, members of the Trump family and many others.
He was also joined by the family members of Corey Comperatore, who was tragically killed during the July 13 Butler rally shooting, and David Dutch, who was wounded in the assassination attempt made against the president.
Trump began his speech by picking up where he had left off just before gunfire erupted during the July 13 rally and grazed his right ear, remarking, “As I was saying,” gesturing towards the immigration chart he was presenting as the shots were fired.
KDKA News reported that the same American flag used for the president’s previous visit to Butler was also hung over the podium where he gave remarks on Saturday.
