Patriotism continues to grow across the nation, with a deep love for the country and gratitude for a leader who never backs down. In both 2016 and 2024, President Donald Trump reached millions, not simply by party loyalty, but through a genuine love for America. His respect for America’s heritage and unapologetic stance on American values brought in new voters and inspired countless others to stand tall for the red, white, and blue.

Patriotism is not a new concept, but in recent years, it has been rediscovered by many who had either forgotten or never truly understood its meaning. For too long, a pattern of disrespect has swept through parts of American culture, mocking the flag, tearing down statues and vilifying police officers and veterans. Yet, history shows that the American spirit is not easily defeated. For all the tyrants, more patriots exist and stand united.

From the shot heard around the world to the bravery shown in both World Wars, patriotism has endured. After 9/11, Americans of all backgrounds united under one flag. That same spirit is returning. Today, many Americans proudly fly their flags, stand for the national anthem, and teach their children to honor this country and genuinely embrace national pride.

President Trump has played a key role in this revival. His commitment to placing America first, defending law enforcement, and showing respect for the military and traditions has set him apart. His refusal to kneel to the trends of political correctness has inspired others to speak up and reclaim their voice. Many who once stood on the sidelines, or even leaned left, now realize the value of this nation and the need to defend it. Patriotism is not just an idea, but an identity.

Patriotism is more than fireworks and holidays. It is the farmer who works through the night in flyover country, the soldier and officer who kiss their family goodbye, and the parent who teaches their children to be grateful for their freedom. It is found in church pews, town parades, and sports fields.

Ronald Reagan often said that America is a city on a hill. That vision rings true today. America is a nation defined by liberty, built on sacrifice, and blessed beyond measure. Though the world may not understand it, it remains a land worth preserving.

Every American should embrace patriotism, not as a political tool, but as a duty. What the Founders established must be defended and preserved for future generations.

Patriotism is growing once again, and for that, President Trump deserves thanks.
