Georgia State Sen. Colton Moore is standing his ground against “Georgia RINOs” after the Georgia Senate GOP Caucus removed him from his position for investigating Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.

According to Breitbart, Moore announced the decision to investigate Willis after she levied 13 questionable charges against President Donald Trump.

However, instead of gaining support, he has now been ousted from his caucus position, per Breitbart. Colton told the outlet, “Today’s removal is a direct result of me calling on my Republican colleagues in the Senate to do their job and sign onto an emergency session to investigate Fani Willis.”

An August Rasmussen report revealed that most Georgia voters support an investigation into Willis and believe President Trump is being unfairly prosecuted. It also showed that the majority of Georgia voters believe cheating was involved in the 2020 presidential election, and more Georgia voters supported Trump in 2020 than Biden.

RSBN reported that Willis indicted President Trump for supposedly trying to “overturn” the 2020 election results for questioning the results.

This is despite the fact that for years, various democratic lawmakers circulated rumors of the now debunked Russian collusion hoax claiming that President Trump had Russia interfere with the election process to get into office, per RSBN.

Before the 2020 presidential election, even left-leaning news outlets reported on cheating in elections. The Washington Post ran a piece exploring the fact that most Americans did not trust the election process in September 2020.

Now, Moore is facing a similar double standard.

He posted about the situation on X, stating, “The Georgia RINOs responded to my call to fight back against the Trump witch hunts by acting like children and throwing me out of the caucus. But I’m not going anywhere.”

“I stand by my Republican principles. I stand by the Republican platform. I will continue to serve as a Republican Senator from the great state of Georgia,” he continued.

Moore then declared, “Unfortunately, now I will be forced to refer to my colleagues, who ran on being ‘Trump conservatives’ as the RINO caucus.”

“I will continue to EXPOSE Fani Willis and the RINOs covering for her,” he concluded.
