After President Donald Trump signed numerous executive orders, the first couple took the stage to dance together with the song “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” at the Commander-in-Chief Ball.
Vice President JD Vance joined the first couple with his wife, Second Lady Usha Vance. Both the First Lady and Second Lady displayed femininity with elegance and class with their ball gowns.
The Commander-in-Chief Ball is held as one of the three inaugural balls to honor America’s military service men and women in active duty. President Trump delivered a speech to resonate his message of peace through strength with the help of building the strongest military presence in the world once again under his second administration.
Trump said during his speech, “We’re going to make our military so strong that we don’t have to use it.” The commander-in-chief was also greeted by a live video feed of soldiers stationed at a U.S. base in South Korea.
With the iconic ‘Y.M.C.A.‘ playing in the background, Trump and Vance closed the victorious night by cutting the cake with a cutlass, a tradition at the Commander-in-Chief Ball.
