President Donald Trump is set to make a triumphant return to the great state of Iowa for a “monumental celebration” rally marking the kickoff of America’s 250th anniversary next year, making good on his promise of giving America the birthday celebration she deserves.

According to a press release from America250, the president will deliver remarks at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 3, 2025, providing a “glimpse into the grand festivities planned for America’s 250th anniversary.”

“America250 is proud to host this historic kick-off event in Iowa, in keeping with President Trump’s commitment to provide a grand celebration worthy of the momentous occasion of America’s 250th birthday,” said Principal Media Representative for America 250 Monica Crowley.

Upon taking office, President Trump signed an order creating a task force aimed at planning and facilitating the 250th anniversary festivities for America’s touchstone anniversary event.

The kickoff of this celebration is a fulfillment of a campaign promise President Trump made in 2023, when he vowed to highlight America’s independence with a year-long celebration, starting at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

“On Day One, I will convene a White House task force called ‘Salute to America 250,’” he said three years ago. “It will be responsible for coordinating with state and local governments to ensure not just one day of celebration, but an entire year of festivities across the nation starting on Memorial Day 2025 and continuing through July 4th, 2026.”

Trump said it would be “the most spectacular birthday party” honoring the epic founding of America and the sacrifices of our forefathers.

The president is scheduled to deliver his remarks at the Iowa State Fairgrounds on July 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET, with a pre-program lined up for 6:00 p.m. ET.
