Also expected to appear is outgoing Texas GOP Chairman Allen West, and former member of the Texas Senate, Don Huffines. Both are Republicans who announced that they will challenge current Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, in the upcoming gubernatorial election.

The American Conservative Union (ACU), organizer of CPAC, announced on Wednesday it is joining President Trump’s class-action lawsuit against Big Tech.

ACU Chairman Matt Schlapp welcomed the lawsuit which claims that Twitter, Facebook, and Google have harmed the ACU and other plaintiffs by systematically censoring its social media content.

“It is my honor to stand alongside President Trump and the brave citizens from across the country who had the courage to stand up to Big Tech, even though they have little power, except for their rights enshrined in the Constitution, including the First Amendment, which is the birthright of every American,” said Schlapp. “This lawsuit will break the stranglehold Big Tech has over our freedom to speak.”

Lead Counsel for President Trump’s class-action suit, John P. Coale, will speak on Saturday, July 10 at CPAC’s Cattleman’s Ball. Coale is expected to give an update on the thousands of Americans who are joining the lawsuit against Big Tech.

President Donald Trump is scheduled to speak at 3:35 p.m. on July 11, where he will likely discuss the First Amendment and his most recent lawsuit.
