President Donald Trump strongly hinted at another presidential campaign during his Saturday rally in South Carolina.
Trump told the crowd, “I ran twice. I won twice. And I did much better the second time than we did the first, getting 12 million more votes.” He added, “And now we may have to run again.”
The 45th president’s latest comments follow his steady trend of hinting at the likelihood of another race for the White House without officially announcing his campaign. During Trump’s interview last week with the NELK Boys, he said, “I think a lot of are going to be really happy,” with his decision regarding a possible 2024 campaign.
Saturday’s Save America rally gave millions of Americans the opportunity to watch the 45th president talk about the disastrous policies of the Biden administration. However, he also presented a hopeful tone for the future of America despite the failings of the current administration.
Trump emphasized the importance of a red wave in the midterms, saying, “We’re gonna win like never before.” With Republicans currently in a strong position to retake the Senate and the House, the 45th president exclaimed, “This is the year we are going to take back the House. We are going to take back the Senate. And we are going to take back America.”
Looking ahead to the next presidential election, Trump continued, “In 2024, we are going to take back that beautiful, beautiful White House.” Leaving the crowd in suspense and excitement, he added, “I wonder who will do that, I wonder, I wonder.”
Trump is scheduled for another rally on Saturday, March 26, in Commerce, Georgia. The 45th president’s rallies are expected to play a significant role in the 2022 midterm elections as Trump seeks to generate excitement and support for strong MAGA candidates.
