President Donald Trump spoke with John Solomon and Amanda Head this week for a special phone interview at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) convention in Orlando, Florida, touching on his record concerning pro-life issues and adoption.

“I did something that nobody else in 52 years was able to do – I got rid of Roe v. Wade,” Trump said.

He pointed out that the termination of the federal abortion ruling in June 2022 has given the pro-life movement “tremendous power of negotiation” as the abortion issue was returned to the sovereign states last year.

“Now the pro-life group actually has the upper hand and they can negotiate something that will be very…good for the population also,” Trump added.

This is not the first time that President Trump has drawn attention to his success in terminating Roe v. Wade as the 2024 presidential primary race has begun to heat up.

RSBN reported that he recently highlighted the achievement on Truth Social, where he stated, “After 50 years of failure, with nobody coming even close, I was able to kill Roe v. Wade, much to the ‘shock’ of everyone, and for the first time put the Pro Life movement in a strong negotiating position over the Radicals that are willing to kill babies even into their 9th month, and beyond.”

During his interview at the NRB with Solomon and Head, the president also touched on the concept of incentivized adoption as an alternative to abortion in the U.S. “I think the incentive is great and I think the concept of adoption is fantastic,” he said.

He added that he would “be very supportive” of cutting through the red tape on adoption protocols and that if he wins the election in 2024, “we’ll be pressing the adoption option,” and “it will get done.”
