A new Rasmussen Reports poll released Monday shows that 50 percent of Americans “strongly disapprove” of Biden’s job performance.
The Rasmussen Reports poll also revealed that 60 percent of likely U.S. voters disapprove of Joe Biden, while only 38 percent approve of his job performance. According to the pollster, Joe Biden’s approval index rating currently sits at -33.
In a Monday morning tweet, Rasmussen Reports stated, “Today’s Biden approval numbers are out, and they have never been worse.”
Rasmussen Reports describes itself as “the only nationally recognized public opinion firm that still tracks President Biden’s job approval ratings on a daily basis.” The organization’s polls are based on 500 daily telephone surveys, providing a consistent picture of the Biden administration’s approval numbers.
A Morning Consult poll also showed troubling signs for Biden’s approval rating. According to the poll, “Only 28% of the youngest Democrats strongly approve of Biden’s job performance, down 31 points since he took office.”
According to Forbes, the new poll released by Morning Consult represents “the largest decline in his approval rating among young voters” since the beginning of the Biden administration.
Monday’s approval rating reports echo President Donald Trump’s comments from last week. The 45th president wrote on Truth Social, “It is being stated by almost all that Joe Biden is the worst President in history.”
Biden’s approval rating has plummeted as Americans feel the effects of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, inflation, high gas prices, food shortages, crime, school violence, and the southern border crisis.
With the midterm elections quickly approaching, Republicans believe Joe Biden’s disastrous approval rating numbers could present the opportunity for a “red wave” across the nation.
