President Donald Trump has been very clear that he is focused on putting America first and making the country “great” again if he recaptures the White House in November 2024.
In a prospective 2025 administration, he reminded Americans this week that he would start with three simple yet effective actions if and when he takes office.
He explained on Truth Social, “My first acts as your next President will be to Close the Border, DRILL, BABY, DRILL, and Free the January 6 Hostages being wrongfully imprisoned!”
It’s no secret that Trump is the most vocal proponent of border security in America, and his border security policies represent a startling contrast to Joe Biden’s open borders chaos.
Millions of illegal immigrants have flooded across the border since Biden took office. It is worth noting that Biden terminated many successful Trump-era immigration protocols, like “Remain in Mexico.”
“In short, Joe Biden purposely surrendered our border to cartels, child smugglers, human traffickers, and some of the most dangerous criminals on the planet – the cost to public safety, national security and taxpayer money be damned,” Trump argued in an op-ed written recently for the Daily Mail.
Trump has promised to implement strict immigration policies immediately upon his return, including a national deportation operation and harsh penalties for convicted human traffickers and drug dealers.
He will “restore every strong border policy I had before – and impose tough additional measures to keep out the gang members, human traffickers, sadists and thugs.”
The president has also long elevated the urgency to achieve energy independence and even energy dominance in America. He warned in September 2023 that Biden’s Green New Deal and electric vehicle mandate, along with power plant regulations, would cripple the economy even more than it is right now.
He vowed, “I will set a national goal of ensuring that America has the number one lowest cost of energy of any industrial country anywhere on the Earth. I want to be number one.”
The president has also assured Americans that he will “shut off Iranian oil and turn ON American oil – and we will DRILL BABY, DRILL, and we’ll get things back to where they are supposed to be!”
Lastly, Trump has often acknowledged the plight of the January 6 prisoners, many of whom have been held for a long period of time. Journalist Julie Kelly, who hosts the “Declassified with Julie Kelly” show, noted at this year’s CPAC that more than 1,000 “political dissidents” had been convicted under the Biden regime.
Last year, the 45th president demanded that the prisoners be freed after damning video revelations were disseminated via then-Fox News host Tucker Carlson, depicting a far less violent scene than many Americans were led to believe.
Trump railed against the Jan. 6 Committee, writing, “The Unselect Committee was a giant SCAM, and has now unequivocally been stamped as CRIMINAL FABRICATORS OF THIS MOST IMPORTANT DAY. Pelosi & McConnell failed on security. The Police story is sad and difficult to watch. ‘Trump’ and most others are totally innocent, LET THEM GO FREE, NOW!”
